Our state-of-the-art spacecraft and subsystems are supporting LEO, GEO, Lunar, and interplanetary missions.

Blue Canyon Technologies is looking for EEE Parts Engineer to join our growing team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the evaluation, screening and qualification of Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) parts to standard part requirements such as EEE-INST-002
  • BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • 2 or more years of related experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Radiation Engineers, and Mission Success Manager to support design teams in the selection, evaluation, analysis and documentation of Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) parts.
  • Perform Parts Engineering functions on complex space programs using industry proven techniques and principles.
  • Assist Design Engineering and Supply Chain Management with part and vendor selections.
  • Evaluate EEE parts against program Screening, Qualification and Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA) requirements.
  • Review GIDEP Advisories and Alerts to determine program impact.
  • Lead EEE part failure investigations and generate reports
  • Perform vendor part data review to endure compliance to requirements

Working conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filling cabinets and fax machines.
