Blue Canyon Technologies is looking for a Manufacturing Cleaning Polymerics Technician to join our team.

Title: Manufacturing Cleaning Polymerics Technician

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $19 - $22 per hour

Location: Lafayette and Boulder, CO

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor work area to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Value high quality and high standard of workmanship                              
  • Be able to follow and adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Clean mechanical parts according to process documentation
  • Inspect and install helicoils to engineering drawings
  • Handle, mix and freeze epoxies, staking compounds and solvents
  • Work on small precision assemblies, work with small tools underneath a microscope, handle delicate parts
  •  Identify non-conforming parts or workmanship during the staking and coating process
  • Maintain lab cleanliness, inventory materials and order as required
  • Collect and record process data, maintain Assembly instructions
  • Perform other duties assisting with polymerics as required by management
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the Production Department
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
  • Work with engineers to troubleshoot and solve technical issues
  • Be willing to cross train in multiple areas of specialty
  • Provide input for continuous process improvement, develop more refined ways of assembling parts and products
  • Perform tasks with a high level of integrity
  • Perform other duties assisting with polymerics as required by management.


Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of production assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret and work to engineering drawings
  • Have good manual dexterity to handle small parts
  • Be familiar with small tools for handheld assembly
  • Possess strong problem solving and communication abilities
  • Ability to use magnification aids (Microscopes, Eye Loupes, etc.)
  • Must be able to use, Microsoft Office (including Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Able to work complex processes efficiently with little supervision.

Required Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filling cabinets and fax machines. This job operates in a professional laboratory environment in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard laboratory and manufacturing equipment such as, microscopes, and various hand-held tools.
