Our state-of-the-art spacecraft and subsystems are supporting LEO, GEO, Lunar, and interplanetary missions.

 

Blue Canyon Technologies is looking for Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree + 5 years’ experience, or Cert Quality Engineer (ASQ) + 5 years’ experience, or 10 years in Quality Engineering.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in electronics and mechanical hardware assurance methods (inspection, test, analysis). 
  • Proven leadership in successful organizational certifications to ISO 9001 and AS 9100 Quality Standards.
  • Experience in managing employees in a diverse functional organization.
  • Experience in implementation of a multi-layered and highly effective Corrective Action Board process.
  • Proven experience increasing company efficiencies and profitability.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of all quality activities for specified customer including participating in the MRB process, acting as quality interface with the customer, facilitating customer audits, strategically reducing non-conformance through corrective/preventative action, support the inspection team to ensure that products and processes comply with customer requirements.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing methodology throughout the Quality department
  • Coordinate the corrective action program
  • Assist in continuous improvement programs
  • Coordinate internal audit system
  • Develop quality metrics

 

Working conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
