Blue Canyon Technologies is looking for a talented full-time Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer who is self-motivated and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.  

Title: Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $72,765- $113,612 (salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge and skills)

Location: Lafayette / Boulder, CO

Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out all quality activities for specified customer including: participating in the MRB process,  acting as quality interface with the customer, facilitating customer audits, strategically reduce non-conformance through corrective/preventative action, support the inspection team to ensure that products and processes comply with customer requirements.
  • Assist in conducting internal audits
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing methodology throughout the Quality department
  • Coordinate the corrective action program
  • Assist in continuous improvement programs
  • Coordinate internal audit system
  • Develop quality metrics
  • Assist Quality Manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the QMS

Required Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated proficiency in electronics and mechanical hardware assurance methods (inspection, test, analysis)
  • Working understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)
  • Experience inspecting spaceflight hardware and systems
  • Engineering degree, OR Cert Quality Engineer (ASQ), OR 5 years in Quality Engineering
