Blue Canyon Technologies is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Industrial Security Specialist to join our growing team.  Well qualified applicants will be motivated and invested in company success. They will be detail oriented and organized, exemplifies professionalism, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and complete visit authorization letters for classified visit requests.
  • Approve all incoming visitors.
  • Greet and process visitors in a highly professional and courteous manner.
  • Will print/issue company badges and on-boarding requirements processes.
  • Perform access control functions for employees and visitors.
  • Monitor live/recorded security camera system.
  • May serve as Primary or Alternate COMSEC Account Manager on a variety of accounts.
  • Provide timely and accurate processing of Personnel Security actions required through-out the personnel security lifecycle.
  • Initiate, prepare, and submit required personnel security applications for access to National Security Information and Intelligence Community Programs.
  • Act as the quality control specialist for personnel security paperwork, ensuring all packages are properly completed and ensure any required/associated documentation is included.
  • Utilizes Joint Personnel Adjudication Systems (JPAS), Scattered Castles, and other government databases to validate clearance/access and submission of eQIP’s/SF86’s.
  • Track and maintain all PERSEC information to include clearance status, security training records, personnel information files and visit certification.
  • Provide security education briefings / debriefings.
  • Administer and coordinate security activities in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal security regulations, directives, and manuals for safeguarding National Security Information.
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive Information.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.


Qualifications:


  • Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with current SSBI.
  • ACPSO/CPSO experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with implementation of the NISPOM, ICD 705 and various other Government Security Directives.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when interfacing with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently and be part of a team.
  • Position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.


Education:


  • BS/BA in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. Travel and local commute between BCT campuses and other non-BCT locations may be required.
