BCT’s highly experienced staff has developed low-cost, flight-proven, high-performance, high-reliability spacecraft systems and components that enable a wide range of missions for academic, commercial, and government applications. Our state-of-the-art spacecraft and subsystems are supporting LEO, GEO, Lunar, and interplanetary missions.

Blue Canyon Technologies is looking for an entry level Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.  This is a full-time position with excellent company paid benefits. Blue Canyon Technologies offers company paid health, dental and vision benefits (for you and your dependents), generous PTO and 401 k programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors following BCT's visitor protocol, answer questions and create a welcoming environment.
  • Perform light clean up in  conference rooms and break rooms 
  • Maintain and order office supplies and keep break rooms stocked with snacks and drinks, assist with occasional Costco runs.
  • Setting up new employee desks
  • Act as back up for and work closely with BCT's other Administrative Assistant. 
  • Organize the dry cleaning of company lab coats
  • Assist the HR Department with various tasks

Required Skills:

  • Enthusiastic, dedicated work style and conscientious about providing top-quality administrative support
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and work independently
  • Ability to remain positive, flexible, and focused in a fast-paced work environment where priorities change frequently
  • Ability to perform work products with a high degree of accuracy

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelors degree 
  • Previous HR experience a plus

Working conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filling cabinets and fax machines.

Specific vision abilities are required by this job which includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
