Our state-of-the-art spacecraft and subsystems are supporting LEO, GEO, Lunar, and interplanetary missions.

Blue Canyon Technologies is looking for a talented Test Engineer with expertise in electrical design, test, and troubleshooting. This engineer would be working in a team environment, sometimes with remote team members, engaging in test and support of flight spacecraft electronics. Development work will span test procedure development, writing automated test scripts, test equipment design, and executing tests using aerospace standard approaches.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Aerospace Engineering or similar.
  • Experience performing board and or subsystem level test of spacecraft electronics.
  • Strong skills with component level debugging of analog and digital circuits.
  • Experience with hardware testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analyzers.
  • Experience with writing and executing test procedures.
  • Experience with programming languages including Matlab, Ruby, and/or Python or similar.
  • Experience with embedded software a plus.
  • Experience with radiation testing of electrical components (TID, SEE, etc.) a plus.
  • Knowledge of control systems and orbital mechanics a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with some direction and to be a self-starter.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or similar
  • Experience - At least 2 years of relevant experience.

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company.
